Anna & Jason

Anna and Jason live in Chicago, IL with their delighfully stubborn but lovable boxer dog Louis. 

 

Anna grew up in Athens, Ohio and is a graduate of the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music. She moved to Chicago in 2011 to pursue a career in music.  She is working toward her Masters Degree in Opera at DePaul University and is looking forward to auditioning for young artist programs next year. 

 

Jason is a Race Driver and Coach as well as an Operations Manager for on E-commerce company in Chicago. He grew up in Shaker Heights OH, went to College in Cinncinati and lived in Chicago for many years before moving Texas to work with Race teams there. He returned to Chicago in 2012 where he an Anna met. 

 

Anna and Jason bonded around their love of music, amazing food, good sense of humor, long conversations, shared Ohio roots and their love of Chicago.

 

They adore travelling together and exploring new cities in the US and look forward to travelling abroad together in their first year of marriage. 

 

When Anna is not at Opera Rehearsal and Jason isn't in the Race shop they love to play tourists in their home city of Chicago. They've spent many dates trying new places in Chicago some of which have become their favorite haunts, inlcuding; Lincoln Station, The Barrelhouse Flat, Red Door, Au Cheval and The Winchester. Though, most week nights you can find them relaxing at home cooking dinner and drinking whiskey while enjoying music or a good movie. 

 

This past summer, Anna took a month long study trip to Italy. A few days before her departure they took a trip to Cleveland to see family. While visiting the Cleveland Museum of Art Jason surprised Anna with a beautiful vintage engagement ring and a simple, heartfelt proposal. They had spoken many times about their future as a couple and this moment was a beautiful way to affirm their commitment to each other. 

 

They looked forward to growing together and starting a family (eventually) in this new chapter of their lives as Husband and Wife. 

 

They have decided to get married in Cleveland to pay homage to their Ohio roots. Both Jason and Anna have family in the Greater Cleveland area as well as special memories and ties to the area.
